Differences between Tungsten and Titanium

Tungsten and titanium are all suitable metal for making fashion jewelry, but what’s the difference between tungsten and titanium? In comparison, tungsten is much stronger than titanium which is the hardest metal in the world. Titanium looks great brand new, and normally less expensive than Tungsten. Titanium is also a very strong metal but not as tough as tungsten carbide.

When tungsten is combined with carbon, it is changed into tungsten carbide. Tungsten carbide is also a lot heavier than Titanium. Most of fashion jewelry now use tungsten carbide as the main material which is popular among young guys to perfectly show their personality and characteristics.

  1. I’m so glad I purchased tungsten carbide wedding ring. It’s really durable, has some weight to it, and it still looks brand new despite 2 years of wear and tear. Tungsten wedding bands are definitely the metal for any man who is even slightly active. Mine is an 8mm tungsten carbide wedding ring with beveled edges. Very stylish, I get a lot of compliments on it!
